A Black Clay Hand-Building Workshop

Get into the spooky season by creating your own one-of-a-kind haunted house from black stoneware clay! In this beginner-friendly hand-building workshop, you'll learn simple clay construction techniques while designing a whimsical, eerie, or delightfully creepy miniature house.

We'll guide you through building the structure, adding windows and doors, creating texture, and incorporating haunted details like crooked roofs, creeping vines, ghostly figures, and other imaginative embellishments. No pottery experience is necessary—just bring your creativity.

Once completed, your piece will be professionally fired and glazed, making it a lasting Halloween decoration you'll enjoy year after year.

Celebrate the season by creating your own handcrafted ceramic pumpkin! In this fun, beginner-friendly workshop, we'll start with pre-thrown clay cylinders and guide you through transforming them into beautiful, one-of-a-kind pumpkins complete with stems, leaves, and personality.

No wheel-throwing experience is necessary. You'll learn simple altering and sculpting techniques to shape, carve, and customize your pumpkin while enjoying a relaxed and creative studio atmosphere.

Your workshop fee includes all materials, instruction, firing, and finishing. We use a unique clay combination that creates beautiful natural color variation, so no glazing session or return trip is required. Once fired, your pumpkin will be ready for pickup in time to decorate for Halloween and the rest of the fall season.

During this two-hour workshop, we'll guide you through the entire building process, from forming the platter to creating individual egg wells and adding decorative details. No prior clay experience is needed.

Your piece will be dried and fired after the workshop. You'll then return for a separate glazing session (scheduled at a later date) to add your choice of colors and finishes. After the final firing, your completed dish will be food-safe and ready to use for holiday gatherings.
