These vases look like they’ve survived something glorious.
Wheel-thrown and finished in a dramatic, cascading, mid-fire glaze, the surface melts from deep espresso and inky midnight into a soft, warm ivory base. Each drip is formed naturally in the firing process — formed in the kiln as the glaze liquefies and falls, freezing mid-motion like a captured burn. No two will ever fall the same way again. The kiln chooses. We accept.
Each one is entirely unique. No two cascades will ever fall the same way again.
Their size gives them presence, standing approximately 7–7.5 inches tall — substantial enough to anchor a table, shelf, or entryway, yet soft enough in tone to live beautifully in neutral spaces. They’re sculptural enough to stand alone, but they absolutely love dried florals, branches, or something slightly wild and asymmetrical.
Details:
Wheel-thrown stoneware
High-gloss cascading mid-fire glaze over dark chocolate clay body
Fully glazed interior (watertight)
One-of-a-kind glaze movement
Handmade in small batches
They feel ancient and modern at the same time — like something unearthed from a future ruin.
Bold. Moody. Slightly unhinged (in the best way).
Glaze drips, variations, and dramatic melt moments are intentional and celebrated. If you are seeking factory-level sameness, these are not your vases. If you enjoy pieces that look like they survived a beautiful, controlled disaster — welcome home.
All sales final, with the exception of damage through shipping - in which case, we will absolutely make it right. Please review photos carefully and reach out with questions before purchasing your new molten friend.
