Skill level: All levels welcome (Ages 8+)

Clay Flowers Workshop | Sculpted Blooms That Last
Flowers fade—but these don’t. In this hands-on workshop, students will learn how to sculpt and handbuild clay flowers inspired by real botanicals. We’ll explore petal forms, movement, texture, and layering to create blooms that feel expressive and alive.
This class is perfect for beginners and experienced makers alike. Instruction will cover basic handbuilding techniques, shaping petals, assembling flowers, and adding surface details. Students can create individual flowers or combine multiple elements into a small arrangement, wall piece, or sculptural form.
All materials, tools, and firings are included. Finished pieces will be glazed and fired by the studio and ready for pickup at a later date.
Come slow down, get your hands messy, and make something that stays in bloom.
This workshop focuses on shaping, refining, and adding expressive details to clay forms. Designed for all experience levels, the class is relaxed, approachable, and perfect for settling in during the chill of midwinter.
Finished sculptures will be no larger than the size of your palm—or feel free to create multiple smaller pieces! All work will be fired by the studio and will be durable for outdoor use after bisque and glaze firing. Participants will be notified within two weeks to return and glaze their pieces at a later date (please read Workshop Terms & Conditions for additional details).
The cost of this class covers one participant. This activity is not advised for children under the age of 8. A separate registration is required for each participant. Any children under 10 must be accompanied by a supervising adult (supervising adults are not required to register, must register separately if they wish to participate).
Once and Future Things and its staff reserve the right to cancel this class or a student’s enrollment at any time due to circumstances including, but not limited to, over- or under-enrollment or poor weather. Once and Future Things and its staff are not responsible for injuries or broken artwork.
